A General Membership is provided based on residing in the community of Greenbelt and having a child (ren) to participate in the club sport programs.  Youth Membership is provided to those youth that live in the city of Greenbelt.  However, non-resident youth are eligible if their home club does not provide a sport’s activity that we presently offer.  They would then be eligible to participate in our sport’s activity for that season only. 

We offer ONE (1) SPORTS FEE PER YEAR, regardless of the number of sports your child (ren) participates in within that calendar year. (Example: if your child registered for Spring Soccer, your child can play any other sport for no additional fee), if your child (ren) chooses to only play one sport per year the fee is not reduced. The purpose of this accommodating fee structure is to allow our children to play and learn other sports, it’s also a great savings for the entire family for the year
 

One Child            $135.00
Second Child        $80.00
Third or more        $55.00

On an individual basis the club offers scholarships and discounts to the underserved and/or families in needs.  Please ask the club registrar or your commissioner for further details.

NEW MEMBERS MUST PRESENT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS AT REGISTRATION:

  • COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR PASSPORT
  • SMALL PICTURE THAT WE MAY KEEP
  • PROOF OF GREENBELT RESIDENCY
  • CHECK OR MONEY ORDER (GBGC CHARGES A $25.00 BOUNCED CHECK FEE)

Refunds:

These fees include a $30 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration covers a $20 County Fee (Insurance) and $10 Administration Fee.

Refunds are only issued for the following: All GBGC equipment must be fully returned before a check is reimbursed.

  • A team folds and child cannot play with another GBGC team
  • Player unable to make weigh-in (football only) and cannot play for another GBGC weight class.
  • Learns that he/or she registered with the wrong club due to boundaries (example: "I have a Greenbelt address, however, due to the boundary restrictions, I have to register with Lanham Boys and Girls Club."
  • Player quits/resigns PRIOR to the first game.

All other refund considerations are on a case by case basis and must be submitted in writing to the Club Registrar and/or President.

Registration Information:

Registration for the 2008 Football, Soccer and Cheerleading Season will be Monday thru Thursday from July 7th thru July 17th and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from July 21st thru July 31st at:
