Greenbelt Boys and Girls Club, Inc (GBGC) is committed to protecting your privacy. GBGC does not intend to collect personal information from children under the age of 13.  The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) specifically protects the privacy of children under the age of 13 by requesting parental consent for the collection or use of any personal information of the users. The Act was passed in response to a growing awareness of Internet marketing techniques that targeted children and collected their personal information from websites without any parental notification.  While we encourage children to visit our site and learn more about our programs, we recommend that parents approve and closely supervise the activity of their children at this and all other online sites. We urge children to check with their parents before entering information on any website and we urge parents to discuss with their children restrictions regarding the online release of personal information to anyone they don't know. 

A Parent or Guardian must be present during any GBGC registration.  Information collected during registration with written permission, will be used for the purpose of club business and membership, some information may be shared, including to Prince Georges County Boys and Girls Club (PGCBGC), entitles sponsoring or participating in tournaments and GBGC events.
